Within Prism, you can build your professional portfolio with individual sections for your demographics, teaching and service responsibilities and scholarly activities.
- Select Profile from your dashboard or left menu.
- The page will load, and you will see a few items displayed:
- Within Profile Info, you can enter details regarding your demographics, education, employment, licenses, awards and more. You can also upload and store your updated resume and curriculum vitae here.
- The teaching section allows you to enter information about your teaching expertise. This section will be automatically filled with courses your program has assigned you within the system, broken down by academic year.
- If you do not see one of your courses listed here, contact your department chair or system administrator.
- If you do not see one of your courses listed here, contact your department chair or system administrator.
- Each academic appointment within your profile section will create a section within the Teaching Details section.
a. Click the + icon at the very top to add teaching details for any given academic year.
b. Click the + next to the specific academic year to add teaching details.
- Within the Scholarship section, you can store information on scholarly activities you have participated in throughout your career including publications, presentations, grant-funded research, and more.
a. Click on the + icon within each section to add a new entry
b. Click on the pencil icon to edit any details previously entered - Add any service you provide to your academic institution, profession, or community, along with membership details.
